Letter of Inquiry Submission

    • You have reviewed Who We Support and think your organization may be a good fit with our Trustees’ interests.
    • You have reviewed our categories and determined you should submit an LOI.
    • For organizations that have received a General grant in the past two years, the Foundation will send an email in August if the sponsoring Trustee chooses to invite a proposal. Please check your spam filter to ensure that the email does not inadvertently end up there.

What do you do next?

Our submission dates for LOIs are below.

The Foundation has two windows of time during which it reviews Letters of Inquiry. For the best chance of your inquiry being discussed by the appropriate Trustees/Committees, follow the chart:

LOI Submission Dates – Initiatives and General Grants

To submit an LOI, click here and use our online application system. This system allows you to easily add and update your organization’s profile and gives the Trustees and staff quick electronic access to your information. It also reduces paper use and postage costs for you and the Foundation.

Our New Applicant Help Guide should answer any questions you may have. If you are using assistive technologies to access our web site, or encounter other difficulties with the system, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 412.281.8734 or info@rahuntfdn.org from 8:00am-4:30pm eastern time during the work week.

You will receive an automatic acknowledgement that confirms your inquiry was submitted. We typically respond within 45 days from the submission date deadline to inform you if the Trustees will invite a full proposal.

Details regarding steps for invited proposals are here.
